Congress wants $33 Billion supplement for Afghanistan War

American taxpayers can't afford the endless occcupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. We've already borrowed over $1 trillion and sacrificed over 5,535 soldiers.

Sorry, but with Triliions of dollars of debt and no way to finance the wars, we have no other choice but to say No to more money for the wars. That is unless the American people agree to start paying for the wars with a special War-Tax.

The American people do not get it, they don not understand that we have Triliion dollar debts BECAUSE of the un-funded wars that Bush started but did not come close to finishing.

A vote for NO for more war supplements is a vote YES for reducing the red ink in which our country is drowning.

"Deficits Don't Matter"

Cheney to Treasury: "Deficits don't matter"

Former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill said he tried to warn Vice President Dick Cheney that growing budget deficits-expected to top $500 billion this fiscal year alone-posed a threat to the economy. Cheney cut him off. "You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter," he said, according to excerpts. Cheney continued: "We won the midterms (congressional elections). This is our due." A month later, Cheney told the Treasury secretary he was fired.
